If there's anything you should know about me, it's this:
I. Am. Weird.
I may seem pretty normal at first, but that's just my mask, you know, putting on a show. To elaborate, I'm at a stage in my life where I'm coming to terms with my inner weirdness and accepting it as a core part of my identity. So if I'm being relatively "normal" with you (especially in person) you are talking to an artificial version of me which was shaped out my inherent desire to feel like I belong...(true story)
Alright, so now that you know that I'm weird, I absolutely must declare that I'm a big fan of anime/manga. In case you're wondering...no, I did not become weird because of anime/manga. I was ALREADY weird. Heck, back in the day when I was moving away to Japan, my weird little kindergarten self thought it would be funny if I took a picture with my teacher and my principal cross-eyed! (Yeah, fun times...my dad threw that pic away though)
Moving along, I feel as though anime/manga plays a huge part in my identity so that's why I thought I should mention that. By the way, my current (and going-to-be life-long) obsession is Hunter x Hunter by Togashi Yoshihiro. If you haven't checked it out yet, I strongly encourage you to do so.
As far as art goes, I still consider it a hobby but I want to reach a professional skill level one day...someday...any day really. In order to reach this level, I've taken several art courses in high school and I plan to take more while in college. I feel most comfortable with a good 'ole mechanical pencil or pencils in general but I'd like to expand my skill set with paint, markers, and pastels (essentially anything dealing with color).
Anyway, expect a weird mix of anime stuff, life drawings, paintings, and possibly doodles in my art gallery haha. Ooh, and I'm planning on creating my own manga and posting it here in the future so look forward to that! (It's a dream that I just wanna go for at this point in my life >:D)
...Gosh darn, I talk WAAAY too much! To anyone who read this to the end, I appreciate your patience and I hope you enjoy what I have to offer! :D

Hello to all the lurkers out there curious about my thoughts! :D
To start off, when I created an account here, I made it with the intentions of wanting to share my art while receiving a generous amount of recognition which would then grant me the courage to begin a project I've always wanted to do: a manga series. Now, I can anticipate what you're thinking now: "Oh, why do you need to rely on the recognition of others to do what you want?" or, "You're gonna fail if you're doing this just for the attention."or, "Wow, you want to make a manga series? That's lame."
